Information on our swimming lessons
All our swimming training is organized in courses. All courses are published/advertised here on our website.
You can only register via this platform, unfortunately we cannot accept registrations by e-mail, telephone or WhatsApp etc.
Below we explain how our system works:
Beginner swimming lessons and „Bedarfsliste“ (waiting list)
Note: This waiting list makes no claim to automatic seat reservation. It serves to determine demand. We will contact the registered persons in due course to see whether they are still interested.
Unsere Anfängerschwimmausbildung findet immer dienstags (außerhalb der Schulferien) ab 17:00 Uhr im Celler Badeland statt.
Our beginners' swimming lessons take place every Tuesday (outside of school vacations) from 17:00 in the „Celler Badeland“, the municipal swimming pool.
A course includes getting used to the water and mastering the water, which is completed with the "Seepferdchen" motivational badge and the subsequent German swimming badge in bronze, also known as the "safe swimmer" badge.
The duration of training courses varies between 12 and 18 months. The course fees apply to both training objectives ("Seepferdchen" and bronze). If your child needs to repeat the lessons for one of the training objectives, we will charge a course repetition fee. You can find the course fees here ... (Link)

"Application for beginners' swimming courses" or "Waiting list"
Approximately twice a year we successfully complete a beginners' swimming course so that we can advertise a new course.
A beginners' swimming course ends with the motivational seahorse badge „Seepferdchen“. The children then move on from the teaching pool to the bronze courses in the swimmer's pool. This is the moment when a new beginners' swimming course is advertised, in which only children from the "waiting list" can register. To ensure that only these children can register, these courses are always password-protected.
Only participants on the demand list receive the password!
When a new beginners' swimming course is put together, the children on the "waiting list" are contacted to see if there is still a need to take part in the course. As soon as the new beginners' swimming course is fully booked, we will open the "waiting list" and you can enter your child there.
The "waiting list" only serves as an information announcement that your child needs a beginners' swimming course. It is not yet a binding registration and registration does not entitle your child to participate in a beginners' swimming course!
